Halloween

Halloween is always fun at our house. This year we had 5 different opportunities to dress up and party! (A ward party, a homeschool group party, a co-op party, Dad's work party, and Trick-or-Treating on Halloween night!) I am still wondering when a 1 day holiday turned into a week long event. We were able to do 4 of the 5 activities and had a lot of fun.

Here are the kiddos with Grandpa Cloward at the work party. Kaiden fits into Marshyl's Air Force BDU's now, so he went as a soldier, Nic was a vampire, Luke was a skeleton, Afton & Kensi were giraffes and Garrett was a cute little clown. Grandpa had crazy hair and a silly hat.

Our family at the work party. Marsh went as himself again this year...I mean he went as a NERD! (Silly me!) I went as a stressed-out-mom-of-6-who-got-them-all-in-costume-on-time. Pretty creative, wouldn't you say?

Cute baby clown, Garrett.

This was Afton's 2nd costume this year. She went as Thomas the Tank Engine to the ward party.

Kensi's favorite "photo face"!

Nic trying to sink his fangs into a doughnut in the doughnut eating contest.

Alex as a rapper, Kensi and Afton
(no, your eyes aren't deceiving you...this is Afton's 3rd costume of the year. She had to be the horse to go trick-or-treating.)

Kensi loved the candy. And when I say "loved", I mean "LOOOOVED". She had to have 3 suckers at a time. I think this is the face that we got when we asked her if she REALLY needed 3 suckers at a time. Silly question, mom!

Sounds like a great week filled with lots of costumes, and even more fun, and candy. Love your costume Jen.
